The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Graduate Programme is a prestigious initiative designed to provide young professionals with hands-on experience in international development. Tasks

Graduates selected for the UNDP Graduate Programme will undertake a two-year international assignment in a UNDP country, regional, or headquarters office. Participants will be placed in one of two key work streams:

1. Programme and Policy Stream

Graduates working in this stream will:

  • Support UNDP programmes and projects aimed at tackling critical development challenges.

Qualifications

Education and Certification

To be eligible for the UNDP Graduate Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold citizenship of a UNDP programme country.
  • Have a strong passion for international development and commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Meet one of the following academic criteria:
    • A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field, with a maximum of one year of relevant work experience.
    • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of two years and a maximum of three years of relevant work experience.
