As an Associate Programme Officer, you will be instrumental in supporting high-level engagements and strategic initiatives. You’ll work directly with the Executive Secretary and senior leadership, contributing to critical outreach activities, strategy development, and coordination with global entities. What You Will Do:
- Support Outreach and Strategy Development: Assist in preparing the Executive Secretary’s missions, meetings, and media activities, including drafting briefing notes, background papers, and reports.
- Coordinate Engagements: Maintain an up-to-date tracking of all engagements, provide substantive support for meetings, and suggest key activities aligned with strategic goals.
- Focal Point for Communication: Act as the central point of contact for information exchange between divisions and the executive office.
- Additional Responsibilities: Provide support to senior members of the Executive Office team, ensuring the smooth functioning of the office.

What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in business administration, social sciences, international relations, or a related field. A first-level university degree combined with two additional years of qualifying experience may be considered.
- Experience: At least two years of relevant work experience in intergovernmental administration, including liaising with senior stakeholders, substantive analysis, and drafting.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other UN languages is an advantage.
