Information Systems & Analytics Associate
Position Overview:
The Information Systems & Analytics Associate (“the Associate”) will focus on building, improving, and managing critical systems and data pipelines for Partners In Health’s (PIH) current and future data systems and analytics needs. The role involves active administration of key systems used across functional teams and geographies, optimizing the configuration and design of these systems, maintaining data pipelines, building custom queries, and creating data transformation and refresh schedules. The Associate will build complex reports, conduct analysis, test solutions, and train power users on how to interpret information and utilize tools effectively. The Associate may lead communication and partnership with a particular stakeholder team, ensuring that team’s systems and reports are operational and up to date.

Associate Director of Systems Planning & Operations
Location:
Employees in this role can work from our Boston, MA office, remotely within the U.S., or a hybrid of these options (5% travel domestic or international)

Major Responsibilities:
Application and Process Design (25%):
- Lead the evaluation and improvement of applications and processes across the organization’s suite of applications.
- Lead requirements gathering, testing, and implementation of specific projects.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, keeping end users informed of any downtime or impacts.
Analysis and Report Development (25%):
- Develop complex dashboards and reports using analytics tools such as MS Excel, MS Power BI, and Jet Reports.
- Assist stakeholder team members in owning and interpreting their data through coaching on these tools as needed.
Data Management and Integration (20%):
- Implement PIH’s Data Warehousing strategy by moving data into data warehouse tools, identifying relevant data relationships, mappings, and transformations.
- Publish and analyze datasets for stakeholder use and update and maintain permissions to those datasets.
Project and Stakeholder Management (15%):
- Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders during solution development, providing updates, addressing issues, and revising timeline estimates as necessary.
- Take primary responsibility for ensuring that a particular team’s systems and reports are operational and address any issues as they arise.
Application Support (15%):
- Provide support and troubleshooting to end users for various operational systems such as Serenic (MS Dynamics NAV), Vena, Jet Reports, Concur, Salesforce, HubSpot, and MS Office 365 Suite and Power BI.
- Bolster PIH’s efforts to grow capacity organization-wide by creating documentation and training super users in each system.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 3-5 years of experience in Public Health, Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or a similar area.
- 4-5 years of related work experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Proven ability to learn new systems, processes, and problem solve.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow and create instructions and documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills; proficiency in MS Power BI and Jet Reports or a similar data visualization tool.
- 3 years of system administration and/or database administration.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staff across departments and countries.
- Interest in social justice strongly desirable.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $75,000/year. The starting salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan with employer match and participate in organization-sponsored medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and eligible dependents. Full-time employees receive 15 days of vacation, 12 sick days, 3 personal days, and 3 volunteer days, in addition to paid time off during the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, the week of July 4th, and 11 additional holidays annually.
