Job Purpose
Plan International Thailand (PIT) has been active since 1981, with work in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, the greater Bangkok area, and other provinces. PIT’s projects cover Child Protection, Early Childhood Care and Development, Disaster Risk Management, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, stateless and migrant children’s rights, fair recruitment for migrant families, and youth economic empowerment, especially for girls.
From FY 2019 – 2022, PIT focused on:
- Gender and women’s empowerment and justice
- Children on the move
- Legal status and citizenship
PIT’s country strategy (2022-27) emphasizes advancing children’s rights and striving for equality for girls and youth in Thailand. The focus is on gender-transformative approaches in youth employment and empowerment, sexual reproductive health and rights, protection, and empowering children and youth to advance their rights and decide on their life course.
Dimensions of the Role
The Grants Coordinator is a key member of PIT’s programme and resource mobilization team, supporting grant/proposal development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting. The position aligns with Plan International and donor policies to achieve resource mobilization goals for PIT’s Country Strategy and fundraising needs. The coordinator collaborates with PIT programme and support teams, Plan Global, Regional and National Offices, and donors as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration)
- At least 2 years of experience in grants management, proposal development, or related fields
- Strong understanding of grant management, donor relations, and fundraising
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multi-cultural environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software
