Position Description
UNICC The purpose of this position is to drive UNICC’s overall talent management strategies. The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Head, Talent Management, within the Human Resources Section (MSH) and collaborate closely with the HR team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Talent Strategy Implementation:
- Contribute to the implementation of UNICC’s talent acquisition and retention strategies.
- Advise and collaborate with managers on selection processes, ensuring compliance with UNICC policies.
- Analyze, monitor, and report on selection processes, focusing on gender parity and diversity.
- Prepare SOPs and guidelines for new processes or enhancements.
- Develop monitoring tools to coordinate selection processes.
- Outreach and Sourcing:
- Participate in outreach activities to improve diversity and gender parity.
- Maintain and develop talent pools and pipelines for future staffing needs.
- Promote UNICC’s brand as an attractive employer.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the selection process.
- Expand partnerships with academic institutions and participate in talent fairs.
- Manage and develop Youth talent initiatives.
- Management of the Selection Team:
- Manage and guide the selection team members.
- Participate in HR coordination meetings.
- Foster a positive and productive team environment.
- Provide mentoring for junior team members or interns.
- Collaboration and Other Duties:
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development unit on related projects.
- Provide ad hoc support within the team or other teams as required.
Recruitment Profile
Experience and Skills Required:
- Essential:
- Minimum five years of experience in HR management, with an emphasis on selection and recruitment.
- Experience coordinating initiatives or projects related to sourcing and selection.
- Proven experience providing HR advice and guidance to staff and managers.
- Desirable:
- Work experience in the UN system or similar organizations is an asset.

- First university degree in Human Resources Management or related field.

Compensation
- Annual Salary Estimation: USD 86,691 (net of tax at single rate, including post adjustment for Valencia, Spain).
- Additional Benefits: Generous leave and absence allowances, flexible working hours, overtime compensation, teleworking, access to training, and possibly relocation grant, dependency allowance, language allowance, or education grant.
