Organizational Context

The Knowledge Centre for Leadership and Management (KCLM), established in Fall 2017, consolidates UNSSC’s expertise in leadership and management development. It aligns with the UN System Leadership Framework, providing world-class learning opportunities to UN staff to cultivate a common leadership and management culture for the 2030 Agenda.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, KCLM Team, or a delegated Learning Portfolio Manager, the Associate Fellow will:

  1. Provide full administrative and logistical support for training activities, including communication, contracts, travel arrangements, purchase requests, and document preparation.
  2. Facilitate webinars for online and blended courses.
  3. Type and edit correspondence, training materials, and other supporting documents.
  4. Assist in organizing workshops, including facility bookings, service provider liaison, course material preparation, and participant correspondence.
  5. Act as a liaison between resource persons, participants, and College services or venues.
  6. Organize missions for UN staff and process travel claims.
  7. Contribute to needs assessments, evaluations, and reporting on learning activities.
  8. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications Required

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience:

  • At least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in logistical support for meetings, workshops, and training events is highly desirable.
  • Experience with online communication tools (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.) is an asset.
