About the Talent Pool and the Role
WFP Zimbabwe is creating a talent pool of highly qualified and dynamic candidates interested in working with WFP. Successful candidates will be placed in a roster for three years (female candidates) and two years (male candidates) and will be deployed when positions arise. Candidates may be posted in any WFP office in Zimbabwe.

- Social and humanitarian assistance for food-and-nutrition-insecure populations.
- Support for urban food-insecure households to build resilient livelihoods.

- Collaboration with national actors to enhance capacities for achieving food and nutrition security.
- Services to humanitarian and development actors to ensure efficient, effective, and reliable support during crises.

Key Accountabilities
- Perform administrative procurement activities to support field operations.
- Compile data and prepare documents to support procurement programs.
- Review, record, and prioritize purchasing requests ensuring all supporting documentation is received.
- Coordinate and monitor delivery of procurement requisitions.
- Research and present information in standard formats for informed decision-making.
- Update and maintain relevant databases and records.
- Liaise with internal counterparts to align procurement activities.
- Provide technical support to other support staff.
- Follow standard emergency preparedness practices.
Standard Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supply, Business Management, or related field.

Language:
- Fluency in English. Fluency in any local language is desired.
Experience:
- At least 5 years in procurement, supply chain, or related fields.
- Experience in procurement activities, conducting analyses, and developing reports.
- Experience working with suppliers or other third parties.
