Role Overview:
SPANA is seeking a talented Fundraising Relationship & Business Development Manager to drive the growth of its corporate and high-value donor fundraising initiatives. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding SPANA’s network of supporters and partners, securing vital funding to further the organization’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
High-Value Donor & Corporate Fundraising:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize relationships with high-value donors and corporate partners.
- Create and execute acquisition plans to engage new donors and partners effectively.
- Cultivate existing and new relationships through tailored approaches and exemplary stewardship activities.
- Oversee marketing and stewardship programs to ensure clear, compelling communication with donors.
- Provide line management and support to the Fundraising Relationships Officer for optimal performance.
Program Support & Administration:
- Manage budgets and contribute to target setting, monitoring, and analysis of fundraising programs.
- Provide regular reports on progress, targets, and income generated.
- Act as a deputy for the Head of Philanthropy and Fundraising Partnerships when required.
- Ensure all activities adhere to legal requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements:
Knowledge:
- Understanding of high-value donor and corporate fundraising principles.
- Familiarity with donor and partner acquisition techniques.
- Ability to develop compelling pitches and applications.
Experience:
- Previous experience in fundraising, marketing, or commercial business teams.
- Proven track record of attracting and acquiring new donors and partners.
- Experience in prospect research and building long-term relationships with stakeholders.
