s the Innovation Scaling Focal Point within the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), your role is pivotal in driving the adoption and integration of innovative solutions developed through IWMI’s research endeavors. With a focus on maximizing the impact of these innovations, your responsibilities encompass a wide range of strategic and operational tasks aimed at promoting inclusive scaling strategies across the organization. Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Identifying Promising Innovations: You will be tasked with closely monitoring and assessing the outcomes of IWMI’s research activities to identify promising innovations with significant potential for scalability and impact. This involves staying abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of water management, agriculture, and circular economy.
- Developing Inclusive Scaling Strategies: Drawing upon your expertise in innovation scaling, you will develop and implement inclusive scaling strategies tailored to the specific needs and contexts of IWMI’s target beneficiaries. These strategies will aim to ensure the widespread adoption and uptake of innovative solutions, particularly among marginalized and vulnerable communities.
- Collaborating with Stakeholders: Building effective partnerships and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders will be essential to the success of scaling initiatives.
